Engineer – IT Solutions

Job Summary:

The Engineer IT Solutions will be responsible for designing and implementing, IT solutions at clients premise. They will work closely with the client’s technical team to ensure that the network is secure, reliable, and performs optimally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Ensure that the network is secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure that the network integrates seamlessly with other systems and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
• Document network designs, configurations, and procedures to ensure consistency and continuity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for network-related issues outside of regular business hours.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with wireless networking technologies, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other technical teams.CCNA or similar certifications are preferred.
